Goodbye my friend its time to leave 
The pain of which I shall not deceive 
As I walk this harsh & lonely path 
I find no reason or cause to laugh 
 
Memories hold no cost in mind 
It is in those memories 
Where comfort I shall find 
Rest assured I shall not forget 
 
Your friendship I held so dear 
Your wisdom always near 
Your kindness all so clear 
The world has lost you & for that I fear
